I went out yesterday morning to do some work and listen. Saw a couple of turkeys. Not much talking but saw a gobbler and a hen.
The Ticks in SEMO are really out and hungry so remember your prevention measures!! I found 6 after I got home and I sprayed before going out! Usually you don't have too much trouble until the end of season with the ticks.

I always think I'm ready for it to start... until the alarm goes off....lol This year it will be tough according to MDC but I'll be there trying to make it even tougher because there'll be no shotgun this year. If I can't take one with the bow, I won't take one.

Will be really tough, I've been scouting and have seen zero turkeys where I'm at. Did see some droppings on a trail though.
