To get outside and shoot my bows. I had a day off last week and spent it doing my yearly spring "maintenance" of my home 3D course. Brush cut trimmed and moved. Yardage markers rechecked and actually moved to be correct with a tape. I only care about distance to ingrain a "sight picture" in my memory of deer sized game. I don't think distance when shooting as I want everything automatic. I even moved my 3D's so that in the evenings I will be shooting East. A setting sun in my eyes seems to hurt my focus... LOL
I shoot broadheads 99% of the time and they are hard on my targets. This one is about due to retire as I am in the "shoot farther back and shoot the rear end in two" process.

I want to practice in a true bowhunting situation. Like I ask everyone in our Bowhunter league, "how many deer have you killed standing upright in the Olympic shooting position"?
Kneel, sit, around brush, from a treestand, ect. ect.. I want it real. Then when it is for real everything is automatic.. A lot of times I don't even remember drawing and releasing. I do always remember anchoring and watching the arrow hit the animals...
My "reserve" deer.. It's time is about to come...

Lets see and or hear about how you practice for bow season.
