Missouri Archery Turkey Season

What does everyone think of going for a Missouri Archery Season. I am thinking of giving it a push next year for 2012 season. Any thoughts.

Perhaps a week between youth and general season, or a week in late march. I would even be open to purchasing an additional archery tag, and if successful it counting as my bird during the first week of the general season.

I wish now I would have brought it up during the CFM meeting, hindsight is always 20/20

I'd be up for pushing that season! Another week of turkey hunting is a good thing in my book.

An extra week of archery only turkey hunting would be great. I like the early season idea.
Does anybody know why some of the drawing hunts for turkey specify shotgun only and won't allow a bow?

I'd go for it. I don't know if MDC would be receptive but it would be worth a try through CFM.
